Hi_Tack is a project by the famous Dutch dance producers
Koen Groeneveld & Addy van der Zwan.
Koen & Addy are the producers/remixers behind projects / hit singles like:
-Klubbheads “Klubbhopping”
-DJ Jean “The Launch”
-DJ BoozyWoozy “Party Affair”
-Drunkenmunky “E” and “Calabria”
-Madhouse “Like A Virgin”
-Johnny Crokett “E For Electro”
-Beatfreakz – Somebody’s Watching Me
and many others.
Their project Hi_Tack started in 2006 with the release of the worldwide
Hitsingle “Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)”.
This single peaked at no.4 in the UK top 40.
Due to this success they where asked to remix a wide range of artists like:
Loleatta Holloway, Roger Sanchez, Filterfunk, and of course their hit version of
Beatfreakz’ “Somebody’s Watching ME” which peaked at no.3 in the UK top 40!
The 2nd Hi_Tack single “Let’s Dance” (a cover version of David Bowie’s 80’s
Monster hit) reached the UK top 40 again and became a big global (club) hit.
Their 3rd Single “Silence” was released in Spring 2008 and is being played
big time this Summer on the world’s dance floors.
Koen Groeneveld is taking care of Hi_Tack DJ sets and visited since 2006 a lot of countries and clubs :
Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Murmansk, and Perm (Russia), Chech Republic, England, Ireland, France, Germany, Norway, Reunion Island and Sweden are just a few of the places where he rocked local clubs and festivals.
A Hi_Tack DJ set can be best discribed as a effective combination of
(Mainstream) House and uplifting Electro.
